PRODUCTS
What other products do you sell?
We sell shower panels and pans, windows, stone countertops, & our sister company sells flooring in the same showroom.
DESIGN
Can I just bring some pictures and rough measurements?
Yes you can bring pictures and rough measurements to start with, but we highly suggest having us look at your specific situation in person at some point. Each home has a multitude of options whether small or large. Designing and planning your cabinetry layout is one of if not the most important things that can impact your home and daily life. We keep functionality and aesthetic in mind.
Can I get a quote without plans or measurements?
We prefer to not give pricing without measurements and plans, but we can share pricing for some of our previous projects.
What is the design and planning process like?
This can occur in a variety of ways, but we suggest coming by our showroom to feel the product and finishes. Then have us come over to measure and walk through ideas particularly for your layout to be optimized. Then go over an actual drawn up design specifically for your home and modify from there further if needed.
Can I see samples before I order?
We have samples and displays of many of the Styles and Finishes at the showroom. We are currently expanding so some finishes may be in the process of being delivered.
Are the cabinets assembled when they arrive?
Each box is assembled and ready for installation. This will make the process faster for your installer to get in and get out.
What are your cabinets made of?
Depending on the cabinet line and style, they are made of either mdf, hdf, layered plywood, solid plywood or in many cases a combination of these. Most lines we have are built with Layered Plywood boxes and frames and the doors are HDF or MDF doors for structural and durability benefits. Considering the wide range of temperatures and humidity in our region this is the combination we often suggest.
Can the cabinets be painted?
Most of the the cabinet lines can be repainted. We have some cabinets that are unfinished but if you like a certain style that only comes painted your installer should have no problem sanding them and repainting them. In many cases the current paint and finish is ideal to be prepped and repaint.
Can they be stained?
Only the cabinets that are unfinished can be stained.
Do you provide handles and knobs?
We do but our options are limited. We suggest ordering them online if you want a lot of options. We are happy to help with this part.
Framed/Frameless?
This term refers to the way the door is installed onto the rest of the cabinet. Framed cabinets have an added piece between the box and door. This is referred to as the frame and gives the box a little extra strength.
Frameless cabinets have the doors installed directly to the box. This is commonly referred to as the European Style.
Overlay/Inset?
Overlay and inset refers to the way the door is installed to the frame. The overlay method is the most common method and sticks out from the frame. Inset refers to the door being installed flush with the frame. See the pictures under Inset Styles of cabinets.
